- Apart from above which is called daaj in Punjabi you need atleast 6-8 home wear but bright suits that u can wear at home.

o Bangles matching with each dress, if you are punjabi, U wont need much bangles as u will have chooda, so don’t waste much money there, just take designer artificial kadas of different colors
o Footwear – Very important – take one of each color- Black, crème, brown, golden and silver. Also take daily wear nice chappals
o Take matching artificial sets of common colors (mix of full sets and kitty sets (only pendant & earings))

o Bindi (designer ones atleast 10 types ) & normal shipa bindi for putting at home

o SAFETYPINS – a big must – atleast 10 sets
- Linen
o Bed sheets, bed covers, blankets, quilts, dressing table covers, dining table mats, pillow covers, etc.
o Hankies -6 -7 soft cloth hankies , small towel hankies & one medium towel hanky
o Along with that, bath linen (towels) will also form a part of the trousseau.
- Toiletries
o Bathing soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, Shampoo , hair conditioner
- night wear (one night gown satin or something, one short nighty , one regular night suit and a salwar suit to be used as night dress)

o 1 big bag in which u can carry all essentials
o clutches , potli’s and small handbags
Rest in Indian wedding the following are generally given which is called grihasti ka saamaan
- Dinner set
- Tea set
- 6 steel thali’s with katori , 6 spoons & 6 glasses
- Serving Bowl Set
